Become a PCard Approver

The PCard Approver is responsible for reviewing and certifying cardholder monthly transactions, ensuring that purchases always meet Lab business necessities. PCard Approvers must have signature authority in Berkeley Lab’s Signature Authorization System (SAS). If you don’t have signature authority, please first contact your Division Business Manager. If you have signature authority, fill out the PCard Cardholder Account Form at the end of the Cardholder Agreement & Request Form. This form should be submitted at the same time as the applying cardholder’s Cardholder Application Form is submitted. Both forms should be submitted to:

When you have been authorized to become an Approver, you will be contacted and scheduled for training. Once you have completed the training, you will be designated as a PCard Approver.
